Two decades ago, at Nariman Point in Mumbai, Aslam Shaikh paused to take in the sight of people gathered along the waterfront. They were of all ages, yet each seemed drawn to the same thing, the presence of water. He realized its power to entertain, to restore, and to inspire. At the time, swimming pools were a rarity in India. Few homes, hotels, or apartment buildings had one, and the concept of accessible, private pools was almost unheard of.

Despite the uncertainty, he saw a possibility. The first order came from Ghodbunder, and from there the journey gathered momentum. Determined to make pools more attainable, he introduced compact, budget-conscious designs that brought the luxury of water into everyday life.

“Water has the innate power to restore, inspire, and bring communities together. Our goal was to make premium, leak-proof aquatic experiences accessible across India.”

A strategic alliance with a US-based company soon followed, introducing a pioneering method that removed the need for conventional RCC construction. This innovation meant no leakage, no seepage, and a new era for pool building in India.

What began as a single project has grown into Swimwell Pools India Pvt. Ltd., a company that has delivered more than 2500 pools for over 2000 clients worldwide. Aslam Shaikh’s vision and persistence have shaped Swimwell into a trusted name for premium swimming pool construction, renovation, and complete care solutions.

Even with two decades of achievement, Mr. Shaikh believes the journey is only beginning. In a constantly evolving industry, he continues to explore new ideas, advanced techniques, and innovative products, ensuring that Swimwell remains at the forefront of luxury aquatic experiences.
